2010 Mercedes-Benz “Gullwing” Bats Eyelashes

The 2010 Mercedes SLS AMG “Gullwing” has been unmasked and lays claim to the first car developed in-house by the company’s performance division, AMG.  Somehow the perfect description eludes us…the right2010 Mercedes Gullwing adjectives have been hidden beneath the aesthetics.

The Gullwing features a 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine with 571 horsepower.  There is a self-imposed speed limit of approximately 200 miles per hour, with specialized ceramic brakes to reign in the magnificent machine in a timely manner.

The 2010 Mercedes-Benz Gullwing sports an aluminum chassis and body, meticulously designed by AMG.  We do not recommend placing it next to an exotic car molded carbon composite materials, as it may fall short.

The 48/52 weight distribution between front and rear and a mid-front engine render the Mercedes SLS AMG an outstanding performance car, a testament to precision engineering.  This car is like a masculine ballerina. The lightweight materials allow this metal ballerina to dance, and also lower the curb weight and increase the fuel economy.  The Mercedes Gullwing is set to hit the market in the spring of 2010 at approximately 140,000 Euros.   You know you cannot wait for luxury that long, so find your Mercedes-Benz rental South Beach style today!
