The upscale vibe of one of the hippest and exclusive club-boutique hotels in London, the Soho House, continues to spread across the States. The Soho House luxury hotel has already exported its classy act to New York and to Los Angeles, and now, Miami makes three.
The Soho Beach House has opened on the site of the historic art deco Sovereign Hotel and is a collaboration between Soho House founder Nick Jones and designer Martin Brudnizki. I can already imagine the luxury rental cars Miami style that will frequent the valet at Soho.
This swanky luxury hotel Miami boasts fifty elegantly appointed guest rooms, each with either an ocean view or a bay view. Luxe amenities of the Soho South Beach guest rooms also include 40-inch flat screen televisions, iPod docks, and unique rain-forest showers for an indulgent appeal.
Interestingly, the Soho Sobe also pays homage to 1940s Cuba, via an old-world style wood-paneled drawing room, where cigar smoke saturates and Cuban coffee keeps guests infused with energy. The vintage wood and antique tile evoke an Ernest Hemingway vibe, look and feel. Ceiling fans circulate bursts of succulently salty sea air seductively around the drawing room, while a grand piano begs to be played. A Bentley rental or Rolls Royce rental would be a fun luxury car rentals to drive while staying at the Soho South Beach!
However, while the nostalgic touches are great, when it comes to modern amenities, Soho Miami is quite current, including the 100-foot swimming pool amid manicured landscaping and a tropical tiki bar, and a special Blow Dry Spa where guests can wage their battle against the wind and humidity of Miami in six ocean view manicure and pedicure chairs, five private treatment rooms and separate steam rooms (as if South Florida isn’t hot enough!).
