The Lamborghini Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster Revealed. I love Exotic Cars!!!

The Lamborghini Murciélago LP670-4 SV hits markets this month and we are already onto the next thing which is the Lamborghini Murciélago LP650-4 Roadster. The advanced Lamborghini Roadster has been kept quiet until a recent photo leak. With a 6.5 liter V12 engine producing 650 horsepower, the convertible will do 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. Only 50 limited edition units will be produced so if you live where its hot, buy the car to match. The sans top Lamborghini Murciélago LP650-4 Roadster has about a $400,000 price tag and that’s just the way it should be. Our only complaint as of yet is the heinous color scheme, what was Lamborghini thinking? Apparently nothing about first appearances.

Simple Economics in a Bad Economy Spell Disaster for Lambo Employees

Lamborghini had record sales last year. Despite a great 2008, the luxury marque has decided to slow production. Lamborghini is planning to shut down its Sant’Agata production factory for two weeks within in the next months. The shut down will hit less than one third of Lamborghini’s work force, not terribly significant unless you’re part of the one third.  Just like Bentley and Mercedes-Benz, Lamborghini believes the shut down will project jobs in the future. As reduction in supply will keep demand for the luxury sportscars up. Simple economics in a bad economy is going to suck for some Lamborghini employees.

A Pre-Super Bowl 43 Lamborghini Celebration

When a football player is asked how he intends to celebrate a Super Bowl win, he jokes about going to Disney World. Disney World is the habitual joke but no real way to celebrate a Super Bowl win. How would you celebrate?

The big game is this Sunday and it may seem to some, that Arizona Cardinals’ running back Edgerrin James is ahead of himself. While James’ team is 2009 Super Bowl bound, they haven’t won yet. James last played for the Colts who won the 2006 Super Bowl, he received the ring but no play-time. This time around James won’t just be a bench warmer, he is psyched to play. Psyched enough, in fact, to reward himself pre-Super Bowl game outcome. This week while preparing for the game of his life in Tampa, the Cardinal running back bought himself a new Lamborghini. Edgerrin James did a pre-Super Bowl 43 celebration for himself. The white Lamborghini, which is now parked outside his team’s hotel, marks his place in this Super Bowl. There is nothing like a Lamborghini that says, "hi I’m here and better than you." Now whether you win or lose the Super Bowl, at least, there’s a Lamborghini in the picture.

Rumor has it that James doesn’t even like to drive, he would rather text message in the passenger seat. So congrats to James’ chauffeur who, by default, just picked up a money ride.

Don’t Let Christian Audigier Touch Anything

The tuning company Edo Competition has pulled out all the stops to produce the fastest Lamborghini ever made. Edo Competition has transformed the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 into a limited edition Edo LP 710 Audigier.  The reconstructed Lamborghini has new aerodynamics, wheels, tires and a new exhaust. Based on the Lamborghini Murciélago LP 640, the LP 710 features a stainless steel high performance exhaust system and 19-inch light alloy wheels. The revamped 6.5L V12 engine brings 710hp of power and 700Nm of torque. Thrusting the Edo LP 710 Audigier from zero to 62mph in 3.2 seconds and reaching 124mph in under 10 seconds.Furthurmore a top clocked speed of 223.7mph. The four-wheel drive system was taken out to save 88lbs and new new cylinder heads and an adjustable rear wing added.

What we can’t understand for the life of us is why Edo teamed up with Christian Audigier. Christian Audigier is over and it’s time to move on, period. Edo Competition basically took a gorgeous Lamborghini Murcielago after market, made it fierce and then let Christian Audigier deface it. Audigier airbrushed skulls and wings all over the outside, then embroidered the same crap on the inside. Turning the Edo LP 710 into a tasteless eyesore. Seriously please don’t let Christian Audigier touch anything else upmarket because he will destroy it with glitter and skulls. His clothing was hot for a second but after seeing the same nauseating skulls over and over and over again, it’s enough. Come up with something new already or peace out guy.

Lamborghini Adds Practicability in Estoque

While high class living may elude the majority, the high class are being grouped between the rich and the ultra-rich. Its a fine line but between rich and richer but either we can all appreciate a Lamborghini, period.  Whether you have your own Lamborghini or are looking to buy, Lamborghini has a new, larger, addition. The Estoque is worth mentioning because it is the first sedan by Lamborghini. The Lamborghini Estogue is maybe a more practical kind of sports car and it will make any mother proud.

The Lamborghini Estoque is perfect en route to business meetings, the golf course or even a weekend away with the kids. At the end of the day, the Estoque is the first sedan by Lamborghini that will allow you the driving satisfaction that is Lamborghini with more than one person. Plus, some more room for luggage, a few golf bags or even a car seat.  This sports sedan has a v10 engine, a very low stance, 22-inch wheels, and a rear seat entertainment system. Thus, making the Estoque the best of both worlds. The Lamborghini Estoque takes design cues from the first generation Aurora and a Gallardo. Equipped with AWD, the luxury sports car is for family, business or to simply make a bold statement. If you know what it feels like to drive a Lamborghini then enough said. The added practicability will cost you about $450,000.

Pricey Bull Comes in Second to Some

The Italian automaker Lamborghini seems to be aiming for Bugatti with its $1.4 million Reventon supercar. Extreme cars are a Lamborghini legacy and the legacy continues. The 2008 Lamborghini Reventon is named after the bull that killed the great matador Felix Guzman in 1948. The ferocious two-seater pulls design cues from fighter planes, like its arrow-shaped nose, and is closely based off of Lamborghini’s current Murcielago LP640.

Besides a very similar but more radical profile to the Murcielago LP640, the Reventón’s chassis is also made from composite carbon fiber.  will have the same 12-cylinder engine, tuned to deliver at least 650 horsepower at 8,000 rpms. Like the Murcielago LP640, this translates into 60 miles per hour in 3.3 seconds and top speeds well over 200 miles per hour. Flat panels underneath the car and a rear diffuser help minimize turbulence and stabalize the Reventón at high speeds. A glass cover shows off the rear-mounted engine and the rear taillight LED’s have been heat-proofed so as not to melt from the engine at high speeds.

Inside, a futuristic, all aluminum instrument panel holds three LCD screens. One of which is a g-force meter that uses a 3D grid to illustrate the forces of physics on the car as it accelerates, brakes and goes around curves. Old people needn’t worry, if computers still scare you then that’s pathetic but, at least, Lamborghini has taken you into consideration. At the touch of a special button, the digital graphs morph into a faux-analog display with classic circular instruments.

The Reventón is about the same price as a Bugatti Veyron, yet based on other numbers is down 350 horsepower and is notably slower in terms of both top speed and 0-60 mph acceleration. Plus, it seems that to many eyes, the Reventón has also placed second in terms of looks. However, at this point none of "bull-crap" really matters because only 20 Lamborghini Reventón’s will be produced and, of course, all have already been spoken for. We are pretty sure that if you are one of the Reventon 20, you’re first and foremost a Lamborghini freak. Plus, at this point everyone around you is probably afraid to utter the word Bugatti. […]

Italian Police Keep the Peace in Lamborghini Gallardos

Some good advice if you want to be a cop, move to South Italy. See, instead of driving some lame Victoria Crown, an old Mustang or Camero, you could be in a Lamboghini Gallardo LP560-4. Lamborghini recently donated a third Gallardo exotic to the Italian State Police force. Decked with police decals, gun racks, lights and state-of-the-art video equipment the brand new Lambo is stupid fast. The newest police member has 560 horsepower, a 5.2 liter V10 engine and does 62 miles per hour in, oh, 3.7 seconds. Take that bad guys.

The first generation Gallardo clocked in nearly 87,000 miles for the Italian Police, since debuting in 2004. Plus, old faithful rarely missed a day of work. Basically 30 very lucky Italian officers will be driving the blue Lamborghini Gallardo Polizia, that is, after some intense driving lessons.  The cool quarter million exotic car is more then most cops see in a lifetime, maybe it’s time America upgrades too. Mayeb motivate our men in uniform. It would be nice to join the force and get keys to a 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, right, keep dreaming. Only Italian Police can keep the peace in high style.

Live, Eat & Breathe Lamborghini in Las Vegas

Live, eat, and breathe Lamborghini, if you love it. Those of you who see Lamborghini more as a lifestyle then just an Italian automaker will be happy to hear, that the company now has a showroom in Las Vegas. The $30 million dollar food, merchandise, car, art and lifestyle showcase is at the Dal Toro megaplex in the Palazzo Hotel & Resort in Vegas, baby, vegas.

Keeping with the high class taste that is Lamborghini, the 20,000 square foot space has high contrast marble floors, leather panels and silk fabrics throughout. The space sesigned by renowned Italian architect Paolo Cortese, has a 300-seat restaurant with glass-enclosed wine cellars and private dining tables. The restaurant serves authnetic Italian cuisine, duhhh, and for the meal an exotic array of Lambos in the backdrop scenery. More than $2 million of artwork displays in the showroom alongside the cars, including the Lamborghini logo-resembling "Charging Bull" by Italian artist Arturo di Modica.

Obviously there is a great collection of Lamborghini exotics, and also merchandise at the fashion boutique. If you still want more Lamborghini in your life then stay late night for the exclusive Lamborghini Ultralounge nightclub.

A trip to Vegas this weekend is always overdue but a full Lambo museum could border on overkill.  We do adore Lamborghini but aren’t drooling over this expo, as many of you probably are. We are happy enough driving around in our Murcielago but if you need this then go for it!
