Imagine Lifestyles Teams Up with Jay Cutler

Imagine Lifestyles Donates Lamborghini forJay Cutler’s Vegas Charity Cruise

Imagine Lifestyles Chicago is back in the giving spirit this month and it just happens to be helping out another Chicago Bears player again. Having previously worked with Greg Olsen’s Receptions for Research charity, Imagine Lifestyles is teaming up with Jay Cutler and his Jay Cutler Foundation, which supports children with diabetes. Our Lamborghini Gallardo rental car will be auctioned off to raise money for the charity during an auction while out on Lake Michigan.

Speaking of Lake Michigan, the event is being held on the beautiful Mystic Blue, a lake cruising ship based out of Navy Pier. The event is being held July 22^nd and is from 7-10 PM. Tickets for the event are $200 and include a 3-course dinner, drinks, and dancing. VIP tickets are available for $400 and include personal introductions to many Bears players including Jay.

Imagine Lifestyles is extremely excited to get out on Lake Michigan and help out a good cause. We realize how important it is to give back to the community where we reside and conduct business in. We look forward to seeing all of you aboard the Mystic Blue and hopefully everyone can raise a great deal of money for Jay’s charity and have a good time.

Women Vs Men: Who is Driving What?

It is obvious when you watch the cars whizzing past you that women and men prefer different cars, for the most part. Before you object, I realize there are exceptions to every rule, and those exceptions make it interesting. Let’s investigate further.

A study of vehicle registrations of 13 million U.S. citizens over a two-year period conducted by Truecar.com peaked my interest. Truecar is based in California and is an auto pricing information company.

The study suggests over 50 percent of the population is female, but that just 36 percent of them register vehicles. This is where the study became humorous to me, and won me over. It then went on to say that of the registered VW Beetles, 56 percent were women. I am sure you have all seen the little flower holders all the new Beetles come with? Tell me that is not marketing geared toward women. The quote from the article stated:

â€¨"It fits the description of what women want in a car. It’s cheap to maintain and own. It gets good gas mileage. It’s practical to get around in big cities yet it’s stylish to drive in hip metropolitan areas. It’s kind of a home run from all those different perspectives.”

Ha. Haha! Well, I personally cannot picture a macho man tooling around in a bright shiny new Beetle. The study states that the highest percentage of luxury cars are registered to men, including brands such as Bugatti (100%), Ferrari (94.4%), and Lamborghini (93.5%).

Well ladies, I suppose we need to step our game up a notch (and likely our careers to compete with that)! Unless the fellas want to race Beetle to Bentley?

Luxury Gives Back: Meet “Exotic Cars for a Cause”

I came across an article today that I found to be a fabulous example of philanthropy, it is called “Exotic Cars for a Cause”. This is an annual event created by Memphis Cars Italia to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity. So how does it work?

Each year Memphis cars puts on its “Worldwide Exotic Italian Car Show”, and it does this strategically on Father’s Day. Why? Because Dad’s love luxury cars and around 50-60 of them are put on display for them to drool over (for a small fee, of course). Proceeds and donations then benefit Habitat for Humanity of greater Memphis.

Top 5 Eccentric Lamborghini Paint jobs

Sometimes I spot an exotic car and it is customized to the point of…well…you be the judge. Here are 5 Lamborghini’s with paintjobs that say “HEY! Look at me! I am different!” I can’t wait to scan your comments below.

First up is a Lamborghini Gallardo that the owner may struggle to find in a crowded lot, because it blends in so well (note sarcasm). Really though, what must this individual have been thinking? I assume the thought process was shut down. Graffiti is in poor taste anywhere, even on an extreme luxury car like this Gallardo!

Up next is rapper 50 Cent, who decided chrome rims simply were not enough for his Lamborghini Murcielago-so he made the entire car out of it. Yes, it is an exotic car that doubles as a mirror, so that the rapper can ogle himself from every angle. Hey, who wants to see the car, right? Grab some shades and check it out.

When I picture a Lamborghini, I tend to picture it in yellow, black, white or red (the main colors). I do not picture it in blue, decked out as a police cruiser, yet that is certainly what has happened in Cremona, Italy! This makes me want to be an Italian police officer…and no one could issue me the dreaded speeding ticket!

Going along with the odd color scheme is this pink Lamborghini. I have no words for this other than to say a Lambo is not a Mary Kay car and bubble-gum pink is not flattering. Sigh.

Up last is this bedazzled eyesore of a toy Lamborghini. Comprised of around 7,668 crystals, this Lamborghini LP 640 toy will set you back $2,500 dollars. Don’t worry, the doors are fully functional and you can imagine a smaller version of yourself behind the wheel…or for that price you could indulge in one of the best Lamborghini rentals available Italian Police

Is Lamborghini Arguably the “It” Car or Poster Car of Luxury Sports Cars?

Is Lamborghini the “it” car in the world of luxury sports cars? Could it be the little black dress so to speak? Well, in order to understand it better let’s take a peek into its fabulous past!

As of 2010, the product range of Lamborghini is entirely comprised of mid-engine 2-seater exotic sports cars. With the exception of the occasional limited production editions, the current brand consists of the V12 powered Murcielago series models and the V10 powered Gallardo series. Recent production models include:

•    Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 coupe
•    Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 roadster
•    Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV
•    Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 coupe
•    Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 spyder

Of course there have been other models in the past, including the Diablo series and the Countach series, I just cite the Murcielago and Gallardo as they are the most recent luxury cars to reach production. The Lamborghini Diablo was actually the fastest car in production when it was released back in 1990, and served as the company’s mainstay throughout that decade.

So how is the Lamborghini the “it” car? Since the early 1960’s, other luxury car companies have taken notice and note of Lamborghini’s every move. And while there are some seriously stunning exotic cars and exotic car concepts in circulation, to this day it is damned difficult to compete with the classic looks of a Lambo. One look tells you it is a Lambo, and the name has become synonymous with style, status and unadulterated exhilaration.

As the years wore on, nothing about Lamborghini as a brand wore out. Every idea that reaches fruition seems to be an improvement upon some already perfect luxury vehicles. It is impossible not to be impressed with this distinguished and experienced exotic car brand.
