Video: The Lamborghini Winter Academy Huracan Cars in Action!

Lamborghini Winter Academy

For those adrenaline junkies curious about what it would feel like to unleash hundreds of horses on snow and ice, the Lamborghini Winter Academy could be the outlet for such a wish. The event is adding more locations annually and seems to be…gaining traction!

What better way to unleash the full potential of the AWD Lamborghini Huracan than through the Winter Academy course?

This is a specialized program provided by Lamborghini that includes a dedicated driving program and, of course, the luxurious experience the world has come to expect from the Raging Bull. It is among the most anticipated annual events coordinated by the brand, allowing owners and enthusiasts willing to shell out the opportunity to truly rage in the latest models. This year, the new member of the family, the Lamborghini Huracan, was the snow queen. The Lamborghini Huracan is a wonderful example to experience in all-weather conditions, as she provides a unique all-wheel-drive system paired with the brand’s first-ever seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. While roasting off in a hypercar on snow and ice is never what any driver would label ‘easy’, these factors certainly make for improved control and overall enjoyment. read more

Some Leisurely Snowboard Action Behind the Lamborghini Huracan

The Lamborghini Huracan has a top speed of 202+ miles per hour, but when it is pulling a snowboarder, it creeps along like so:
Lamborghini Huracan snowboard action. Wait a second…gotta take a selfie: The boarder is wielding a selfie-stick, which may be the culprit that prevented any awesome tricks. Come on bro, they make Go-Pro cameras for stunts like this! The entire feat was filmed using on-car cameras, selfie sticks and a drone.

The video above has over 150,000 views, as it shows the new Lamborghini Huracan completely out of it’s element and out in the elements—pulling along snowboarder Jack Bennet (Cheshire Gent on YouTube) at a snail’s pace. In comparison to similar stunts by the legendary Ken Block, it is a bit low-key, but that does not subtract from the cool factor of attempting it. read more

The Topless Lamborghini Aventador is Hotter and Therefore Pricier

Lamborghini Aventador roadster

Fans of the dynamic Lamborghini Aventador roadster LP700-4 will appreciate her drop-top styling, just perhaps not her lofty price demands. Interested parties already know that they shall shell forth approximately $450k in order to grip the wheel of the convertible Aventador. My verdict: worth it.

Do not have $450k? No worries–the Lamborghini Aventador coupe is roughly $60k less.

Owning a machine like the award-winning Lamborghini Aventador is a privilege. When something important like the Aventador emerges, often a slew of special edition and roadster siblings are created. While it is impossible to predict what she will be valued at far into the future, it seems like a safe bet that even at almost a half a million dollars, it is a good investment. It is also a good track car, for those interested in adrenaline rather than collecting…just putting that little slice of information out there. With 700+ horsepower and improved aerodynamics and handling, taking the Lamborghini Aventador to a track is every driver’s dream. read more

Video: Underground Racing Lamborghini Gallardo Beats Own Record Again

Check out this footage of another Underground Racing Lamborghini Gallardo beating the record for a half-mile sprint. The previous record was held by a different Lamborghini Gallardo, also tuned by Underground, which was taken from another before that. Does anyone notice a badass pattern developing here? Reputations for outstanding aftermarket tuning do not just form, they catapult over asphalt.

The clip above shows the 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP-570 Superleggera breaking the previous record with a rather throaty run of 233.88 miles per blistering hour. read more

Lamborghini Huracan Spin Offs Are Street Scorchers

Lamborghini Huracan

Lamborghini is not a brand to just bask in the glory of recent success, like that of the extremely popular Huracan. Instead, the Raging Bull has been occupied with unleashing the Lamborghini Huracan offspring already: The one-off Lamborghini Huracan LP 620-2 Super Trofeo and the Huracan GT3 racer.

The Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo (Lamborghini.com)

Lamborghini unveiled the Huracan GT3 racer recently at the Sant’Agata Bolognese headquarters. The car was developed completely in-house for perfection purposes and she is certainly exquisite. Development was completed by the company’s motorsport division to ensure maximum aggression and off-the-charts power. In fact, the GT3 car is only the second model to emerge from the all-new Lamborghini Squadra Corse facility. Auto spies have been murmuring about the Lamborghini Huracan spin-offs for quite some time, as they have been testing since last year. What is known so far is that the Huracan GT3 is based on the same platform as the next-generation Audi R8 supercar and is to feature a robust direct-injection V10 engine.

How to Drive a Lamborghini Into a Pole or a Lake

Lamborghini crashes and crazy incidents are apparently on the rise recently, with the following two tidbits making headlines: A driver kissing a pole with a Lambo and another rocketing the car into a pond during a drag race…on a track.

The clip above shows a Lamborghini spinning out prior to making a splash in a nearby pond. Why is there a body of water near a track in the first place, lending such damaging potential. Bodies of water belong on golf courses.

The driver of the Lamborghini Gallardo in the video above found himself in hot water during a WannaGOFAST drag race in Florida. The car was tuned by Heffner Performance of Florida and packing over 2,000 horses. The clincher: During the race, the turbos were actually tuned down. Heffner shared:  “We had the boost down to minimum, about 17 pounds, That car would have no issue making 2,400 to 2,500 horsepower at the wheels at 40 or 45 pounds of boost.” The driver encountered a patch of debris, which caused him to lose control and careen into a pond. Even the slightest movement of the steering wheel can lead to a complete loss of control in a supercar like this, so driving over something, no matter how small, is dramatic. read more

Video: What a Lamborghini Motorcycle Project Looks Like

Sometimes it just takes a bit of engine-uity to transform a bad situation into something a bit more interesting. That is precisely what took place when Georgian Chuck Beck began his Lamborghini motorcycle project. Rather than ending up in a junkyard or being transformed into a neat-o coffee table, Beck used the V12 to build out an inspiring motorcycle. A friend presented Beck with all that remained of his Lamborghini following a fire, and was likely just as surprised as the rest of the world is to see what became of it! read more

Is It A Lamborghini Aventador Super Veloce?

Lamborghini Aventador Super Veloce

The Super Veloce designation is reserved for only the most relentless, fear-invoking, threatening and fierce machines from the Raging Bull badge. So is this a Lamborghini Aventador Super Veloce mule out testing, or just another tuned up sibling?

Is this a Lamborghini Aventador SV? Widespread reports indicate that it is coming this year.

Leaked photos of a potential Lamborghini Aventador Super Veloce are sparking intrigue online–especially because one has not been snapped since 2013. The images of this mysterious number were captured on an Italian roadway. It is decidedly different than previously seen tuned Aventadors or special editions. A Lamborghini Aventador is a force to be reckoned with in raw form. The mere idea of an SV Aventador is enough to raise the pulse and produce heavy breathing. Imagine even more power than the bare-bones 700-horsepower Aventador unleashed on the market. If the right amount of weight is shaved off and power is boosted, the nice lady could well enter the 900+ horsepower arena where the likes of LaFerrari, Bugatti Veyron and select few others live. read more

Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Edition to Scorch the Pavement

Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Edition

The Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Edition celebrates the long-term relationship between Lamborghini and Pirelli. The love affair started when the original 350 GTV prototype was fitted with a set of Pirelli’s. The obvious curb appeal and connection has continued to flourish.

While there are ample special edition Lamborghini Aventadors in existence, few celebrate such an important and appealing relationship as the one between the Raging Bull and Pirelli tires.

The Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Edition will be offered in two versions:  read more

Unbelievable: Pristine Lamborghini LM002 Up for Grabs

Lamborghini LM002

There will be a pristine Lamborghini LM002 hitting the block at RM Auctions next month. The fierce V12 Lamborghini SUV started at around $120k back in its day, which was equivalent to around a quarter million today. Now, even in near-perfect condition, this Rambo-Lambo will be lucky to net $120k in today’s dollars.

The Lamborghini SUV seems to be one of the most undervalued awesome vehicles on the planet. A new Raging Bull SUV, the Lamborghini Urus, could make its first stampede onto the market as early as 2016. That fact alone could increase the value of Lamborghini SUV predecessors, which remains to be seen at the sale. If the LM002 nets a substantial price, it could be a sign of things to come. read more
