Michael Jordan Builds A Monster

Michael Jordan Upgrades His Sleeping Arrangements

When you are the greatest basketball player ever and one of the most recognized athletes on the planet apparently you also develop a unique taste for real estate.  It also helps to have $20 million dollars at your disposal to create your newest dream home located just blocks away from Tiger Woods; palatial estate.  Located in Jupiter, FL, Michael Jordan’s new home is just what you would expect from the former Chicago Bull.  Located on Jack Nicklaus’ world famous Bear’s Club golf course, this mansion is built for a man who we all thought already had everything.  Playing 36 holes a day for this uber-competetive individual just got even easier though, and he can probably reserve a tee time pretty easily with a little name-dropping at the clubhouse.

Michael Jordan's House

This 28,000 square-foot monster has the usually basketball court, workout facility, guest house, and even a cigar-friendly entertainment room.  No home would be complete in Florida without the pool either but Jordan went one step further with his own pool house included.  With 11 total bedrooms, Imagine Lifestyles is eagerly awaiting an invitation to come play some ball and bronze poolside with the man himself.  We will even bring our own cigars MJ!

NFL Players Luxury Car Preferences Vary More than Lindsay Lohan’s Court Appearances

Cadillac Escalade Rentals Miami

NFL guys love their “rides”, but what a variety out there in the “players only” section of NFL stadium parking lots!  These guys also indulge in the occasional exotic SUV rental Miami or luxury car rental Miami, like when the urge for a new Ferrari F430 Spider rental is too much to ignore.  But what lurks in their garages?

Ice Skating And Baseball…. The Perfect Combo

This Week in Chicago: November 29th – December 5th

Let’s face it Chicago, winter is here to stay for a few months.  Instead of being down and upset about it, get excited about ice-skating at historic Wrigley Field.  The Rink at Wrigley opens this Wednesday, December 1st.  The Rink at Wrigley is back for the second consecutive year; a full size ice skating rink will welcome skaters to the Friendly Confines all winter long.  A big thanks for the generosity of the Ricketts family and the Chicago Cubs, 44th Ward Ald. Tom Tunney, the City of Chicago, and the Chicago Park District for putting this together.  This is a perfect place to pull up in one of our vehicles from our fleet of Chicago exotic rental cars

Fans Forgive Big Ben

There was talk the Steelers would trade him.  There was talk the fans had disowned him and that he’d never hear the cheers again at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.

But fans are fickle. Like an angry girlfriend, there’s a chance they will forgive if you behave well and if you perform when required.Ben Roethlisberger Pittsburg Steelers

In his first game back as the starting QB of the Steelers after a Four-game, NFL-imposed suspension for getting in trouble with police during the off-season, Ben Roethlisberger, did hear the cheers when he trotted onto the field, and he did deliver.

Party of the Year? Imagine Lifestyles Throws It Down In Chicago

Imagine Lifestyles Throws It Down In Chicago

Way back when in June 2010, Imagine Lifestyles introduced itself to Chicago with a launch party.  With summer winding down and everyone reminiscing about all the good times had, it seems a few people thought our party was a pretty good time.  NBC Chicago recently put out its’ possible list of best Chicago parties of the summer.  And low and behold, Imagine Lifestyles, with a little help from the Blackhawks and the Stanley Cup, made the list.

What started out as a relaxing night with a few cocktails eventually turned into a raging party.  We had a few of our favorite Chicago exotic rental cars parked out front, a few celebrity athletes in attendance, and a silent auction benefitting Greg Olsen and his awesome charity, Receptions for Research.  Imagine Lifestyles Luxury Rentals was hoping we would have a special guest appearance but no one was for certain if it would happen.  And then it happened.

For those of you that attended that Thursday evening hopefully you remember bits and pieces of the evening and what made it so special.  Around 11 P.M. just as the party was getting started, a small explosion occurred in the stairwell.  Not a bomb, not fire alarms, just 25 bearded drunken men holding a giant silver trophy (know as the Stanley Cup) that would soon turn into what is essentially known to most as a beer mug.  It’s hard to explain what happened the next 5 hours, but apparently everyone had a good time and NBC Chicago agrees.  Maybe next summer we will have to throw another little get together?  Would anyone come back for round two?

Here is the link with some pictures of our June party held at Underground Chicago:

This Week in Chicago

This Week in Chicago: October 4th – October 10th

Looking for something to do this Sunday before football starts?  You might have to set your alarm a little earlier than normal for a Sunday but it will be worth it when you realize the commitment being put forth by so many others this weekend.  The Chicago marathon is back and once again this year the maximum number of participants was reached.  On Sunday at 7:30 AM, 45,000 people will embark on a 26.2-mile journey through the city.  Each contestant will have their own reason for running, whether it be to honor a fallen loved one, to raise money for a charity, or possibly to win the race.

Chicago MarathonSince registration filled up in April for this event, there will unfortunately be no last minute entries.   The event is sure to be another huge success for the city of Chicago, as runners from across the world will be looking to capture the crown.  The Chicago marathon is arguably the 3rd most popular race in the United States after Boston and New York City.  Many Midwest runners will use their Chicago marathon times to qualify for the New York and Boston races.  The Chicago marathon is extremely fan-friendly and offers numerous different ways to watch friends and family members participating.  I am sure many runners will pass our some of our fleet of Chicago exotic rental cars

Whether or not you are a big runner, seeing these dedicated athletes achieve their goals is a great experience and all the runners would love to see some support from Chicago residents.  Imagine Lifestyles will not be participating this year but we will be showing our support for numerous friends and family members who have chosen to run this year.  Visit the Chicago marathon website this week and pick your place to watch the race and come cheer on some of Chicago’s finest this weekend.  There should be no excuse for getting out of bed considering all you have to do is sit there and cheer.  It could be worse, some people will actually be running the whole time.

Gloria Estefan Defies Death at Dolphins Game

Even writing that headline amused me, and so did the antics of singer and minority owner of the Miami Dolphins, Gloria Estefan.  Estefan climbed from the window of her luxury box at Sunday nights Dolphins Vs New York Jets game, due to the entrance becoming inexplicably locked.

It seems Estefan and guests became trapped somehow in the luxury box at Sun Life StadiuGloria Estefan Miami Dolphinsm in Miami sometime prior to halftime of the game.  Now people are talking about how badass Estefan is for kicking off her Dolphin-colored Yves Saint Laurent pumps and essentially became like Spiderman, scaling down from the third-level of the stadium as fans watched and snapped photos from below.  You go girl!

It remains unclear how the high-profile group became stuck in the luxury box, but it has been reported that locksmiths, stadium security and even local firefighters failed at freeing the group.  I think it is kinda sexy that Estefan climbed out the window, rather than waited for a rescue like a fairy tale.  She’s like 007, I think for the next Dolphins game she should just use our Aston Martin rental free of charge, and be James Bondish.

So was it an attempted sabotage from a Jets fan?  Well, if that is indeed what it was, Estefan still made it from her suite to the football field in time to introduce Enrique Iglesias for his halftime show.  I find this to be awesome, well done Gloria!

This Week in Chicago September 20-27

This Week in Chicago: September 20th-27th

Before you jump to conclusions and tell us that we are crazy for suggesting you go visit another sports bar in Chicago this week, at least give us a chance to explain ourselves as to why we think this spot is different and worth the trip.  First off, they serve really cold beer, which everyone loves.  Second, this place honestly is different than most sports bars you have been to in the past.

When was the last time you walked into a bar that had an actual retractable roof?  Unless you are counting the concession stand at the last baseball game you attended as a bar I would imagine your answer would be never.  Benchmark is proud to be the first bar in Chicago with a retractable roof located on the second floor.  The whole bar is covered in TV’s and windows, allowing for plenty of fresh air to cool the place off on warm days and plenty of spots to catch any game.  Once winter comes, with the simple push of a button the roof will most likely remain closed until Spring comes but the rooftop space will still be a great place to hang out.  One thing that may might this place look cooler, as if it needs help, would be one of our cars from our fleet of exotic rental cars Chicago.

This Week in Chicago: September 13-19th

This Week In Chicago: September 13-19

Let’s face it Chicago, baseball season is over.  The Cubs have been in rare-form since before the all-star break and have managed to fall 19 games under 500.  The White Sox have at least remained competitive but signing Manny Ramirez is not the key to playoff success for the south-siders.  If baseball season is over in Chicago then surely Imagine Lifestyles cannot be suggesting anyone head to Wrigley Field this weekend then right?

Wrigley Field Wrong.  This weekend the Friendly Confines of Wrigley Field will be hosting Jason Mraz and Dave Matthews Band for 2 nights of music Friday and Saturday.  It is sure to be some of the most entertaining moments of the summer at Wrigley since the Cubs have been pitiful since early May.  Outdoor concerts in Chicago will soon be gone until Spring and there are very few, if any, big name acts scheduled in Chicago the remainder of 2010.  Tickets are still available for this historic show and Wrigley Field and its’ adjoining rooftops should be packed with music enthusiasts both nights.
