The Super Veloce designation is reserved for only the most relentless, fear-invoking, threatening and fierce machines from the Raging Bull badge. So is this a Lamborghini Aventador Super Veloce mule out testing, or just another tuned up sibling?
Is this a Lamborghini Aventador SV? Widespread reports indicate that it is coming this year.
Leaked photos of a potential Lamborghini Aventador Super Veloce are sparking intrigue online–especially because one has not been snapped since 2013. The images of this mysterious number were captured on an Italian roadway. It is decidedly different than previously seen tuned Aventadors or special editions. A Lamborghini Aventador is a force to be reckoned with in raw form. The mere idea of an SV Aventador is enough to raise the pulse and produce heavy breathing. Imagine even more power than the bare-bones 700-horsepower Aventador unleashed on the market. If the right amount of weight is shaved off and power is boosted, the nice lady could well enter the 900+ horsepower arena where the likes of LaFerrari, Bugatti Veyron and select few others live.
Lamborghini Murcielago Super Veloce
Note the interesting Super Trofeo style diffuser in the rear in place of where the signature GT wing would be fixed to the rear (in the video). The GT wing has been a tradition on Lamborghini Super Veloce models since the Diablo—thus the void was noted.
The spied Lamborghini mule at a glance:
- Restyled quad exhaust indicates that it means business.
- Revised aerodynamics and likely incorporation of lighter materials to shave off some curb weight.
- An anonymous Lamborghini dealer has claimed that an SV Aventador will be on sale by 2015—though there is no proof to this yet.
Fun fact: Super Veloce actually means what it should: Super fast. Decadently simple, deliriously aggressive.
