Just after showboating its new Lotus Seven-esque e1 electric sportscar at the Frankfurt Motor Show, eWolf has released details and images of the e2 concept, its next protégé and gift to the world of exotic cars.

While most follow-up exotic cars opt to become a drop-top version of their predecessors, the e1 was a drop, so the e2 is in coupe form.  The delicious e2 clearly gives props to Italian design history, paying homage to the likes of the Ferrari Enzo and the Lamborghini Reventon.  The sexy shape and design is flawless.  If you feel like you are cheating on your favorites by drooling over this concept pin-up, you can always do a Lamborghini rental or a Ferrari rental until the real deal arrives. 

This concept supercar is to be powered with one 134-horsepower electric motor per wheel, equaling a grand total of 536 horsepower.  The e2 will have the capacity to race 0-60 in under four seconds, and the top speed will be capped at 155 miles per hour.  The energy will be harnessed in a lithium ion battery pack with 84 flat cells from CERIO. 

If you are going to spend big, you may as well go for the gusto if this erotic exotic ever makes it to the market.  This is a truly beautiful knockout concept car, and we like the fact that it is also green.  If you share a love for the finer things, own or enjoy the occasional luxury rental car, the e2 is certainly something to look forward to.
