What was basically an Aston Martin skeleton sold for a jaw-dropping $435,000 at auction recently. While there was an engine included, that was roughly the extent of the package, which is a project car in its most raw form! This particular car must have been the dream project car for the buyer in order for them to shell out so much…or it was a sheik or Bill Gates.

A $300,000 Aston Martin has been unearthed from a barn following a 33-year spell! According to Bonham’s auction house, the 1964 Aston Martin DB5 was purchased in 1972 and driven until 1980. It was then inexplicably parked and memory lane closed. This model is worth nearly half a million dollars when restored, so it is quite shocking indeed that it was simply overlooked and neglected for so many decades!

The owner is now deceased and the collector car is expected to net upwards of $300,000 when it hits the auction block this May at Aston Martin’s factory.
