German auto tuner Brabus was not satisfied with the Mercedes-Benz AMG, so they created the Brabus 800 roadster. This 800 horsepower beast was engineered in a wind tunnel for superior aerodynamics, and Brabus claims it is the most powerful roadster.
The Brabus 800 is being touted as the most powerful SL65 AMG. It offers a blistering performance in comparison to the already impressive standard fare.
The Brabus 800 roadster uses the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG as a base. The AMG base model is a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 kicking out 621 horses, but that was simply not enough. The Brabus version hits the 0-60 jump in 3.7 seconds with a blistering top speed of 217 miles per hour. The top speed is electronically limited, leaving the aftermarket roads wide open for possibilities.
