Bugatti Produces 8 Veyron World Record Special Edition Cars

On the heels of the ‘Fastest Production Car’ turmoil, Bugatti has released 8 Veyron World Record special edition cars. The brand has introduced the world record cars to commemorate holding such a lofty title, and all 8 are naturally spoken for! The official name is quite lengthy: The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Car.

For those unaware of the drama, the Bugatti Veyron has held the title of Fastest Production Car in the Guinness World Records since 2010. Recently, that title was stripped and then restored. It was stripped because the rules state that the production car sold needed to be made available at the same speed that won the record.
