The Amelia Island classic car show in Florida inspired a speed festival at a nearby airport, where supercars and high-performance cars accomplished a bit of showing off. The awesome displays, both parked and racing, paled in comparison to the unfortunate Ferrari 458 Italia crash that ensued! The clincher: the owner’s buddy, who was not injured in the runoff, crashed The Ferrari. The friendship on the other hand, may have suffered some injuries!

Another Lamborghini Aventador crash has occurred, this time in Sarasota, Florida. It seems that a 79-year-old woman allegedly hit the rear end of the hypercar, causing quite a bit of damage to the precious carbon fiber frame.

Details are sparse, but the extensive damage to the back end of the Lamborghini could indicate that it was a nailed in the back by granny, causing it to splinter apart and likely the driver to utter an expletive or two. One of the Aventador’s wheels was completely dislocated from its axle! The good news is that no one was injured and that the damage looks like it can be repaired, saving the owner a lengthy wait for a replacement. read more
