We at Imagine Lifestyles love all that is luxury, especially exotic and luxury cars.  We rent our exotic cars out, so let us explain why renting a luxury car is better than owning one!  We love our cars, we just want to give you a heads-up on the responsibilities and costs of ownership versus renting.

When you own an exotic car, there are many costs that will continuously hit you after the initial payment.  The first thing you will be concerned with is finding an appropriate storage area for it, which can run a few hundred if not thousands (depending on where you reside) per month.  A luxury car requires a climate-controlled environment and must be meticulously maintained to keep it in pristine condition.  We keep our Chicago exotic rental cars in Trump Towers, for example.

Up next is the fact that routine maintenance; oil changes, batteries and new tires on a luxury and exotic car are pricier, which will rack up additional thousands per year.   This is routine work, and does not include the high cost of repairs in the event of an accident or breakdown.

Just think, if your luxury rental breaks down (which is not likely), it does not cost you a penny, you just get another luxury car rental.  When you own a luxury car such as a Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, BMW, and take it in for repairs, you are most likely to get a cheaper loaner.  We think if you drive a Lamborghini, you should get a Lamborghini to drive while yours is being repaired, not a Cadillac.  So if your Ferrari F430 rental breaks down, you will receive another F430 Spider, or something of greater value.

So renting a luxury car alleviates the issues of upkeep, repairs, depreciation and storage.  It also allows you the perfect avenue to explore other exotic rental cars whenever you please.
