The Aventador transformed the Lamborghini sports car into an epic hypercar, claiming numerous accolades along the way. Now, on the heels of its huge success, there are the inevitable auto rumors—with the wildest of all being murmurings of a 4-door Aventador!

We take the sedan-style Lamborghini Aventador rumor with a grain of salt and a splash of imagination. When something seems impossible—the Ferrari FF comes to mind!

The Lamborghini brand has enjoyed a nice rise in sales since the introduction of the Aventador LP 700-4, and is slamming the pedal down to produce their Urus SUV concept, expected to emerge in 2017.

Ferrari’s hatchback…the FF

Unleashing a 4-door Aventador could certainly position them to compete with the Ferrari FF hatchback…but that would depend on the market reception. The sedan Aventador could possibly show up in concept form as early as next year, or it could drag out for a few years as a humorous rumor.

Would the Aventador suffer aesthetically without those sharp scissor doors?

It has been reported that the sedan supercar could be called the Aventador GT and feature a unique door concept: a singer rear-opening suicide door. Quick…someone contact James Bond’s people…
