German engineers Brabus have just revealed their latest competitor to the black hole, the new E V12 Black Baron sedan.  It is based on the new 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class W 212.  It is also like Darth Vader, a black matte uber-Benz that swallows all light upon contact.  This luxury car has a serious dark side.

Aesthetics aside, it boasts a newly developed BRABUS SV12 R biturbo 800 twelve-cylinder displacement engine.  The twin-turbo 6.3-liter V12 engine, puts out approximately 800 horsepower (we are betting on black horses) and 1,047 pound-feet of torque. 

 

Brabus claims that the E V12 Black Baron will hit the 0-60 mile per hour mark in about 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 230 mph.  This is one fast car.  At regular speeds (which are no fun) the Black Baron gets around 15 miles per gallon.

The power under the hood is greatly assisted by the sleek aerodynamic body design.  This is an exclusively appointed “one of ten” edition.  The 2010 Mercedes Black Baron features a fully adjustable sports suspension, new stabilizers, a high-performance braking system and, of course, black 19-inch allow wheels. 

The interior is striking, and of course, black.  It boasts an alcantara headliner, carbon fiber trim and a speedometer that goes up to 249 miles per hour. Could this be a replacement for the Batmobile?  If you have an extra $875,000 in the bank begging to be spent, it can be yours.  Otherwise, you can always indulge in our black Lamborghini Gallardo Coupe rental; it fits the dark and handsome bill, for a much lower bill.
