Little sibling Cygnet has struggled in efforts to shine alongside its potent V8 and V12 family members. The diminutive Aston Martin Cygnet has simply failed to attract a large volume of buyers, unlike the similarly sized Aston Martin stroller. To sweeten the deal, the company has coupled with fashion house Colette to create a more exclusive and upscale version, dubbed the Aston Martin Cygnet Colette edition.
Check out the video of the Aston Martin Cygnet Colette edition. This version of the Cygnet boasts the British carmakers expertise meshed with French styling for a fresh take on the little tyke.
The color dripped down to the wheels to tie the effect together. No word on how many inches tall the wheels are
The special edition Aston Martin was originally to be called the “Cygnet & Colette”, a lackluster name that failed to catch on. The Cygnet Colette edition made an appearance in Dubai with an attractive Lighting Silver exterior garnished with exclusive Colette blue detailing. Other design cues include stainless steel badges and a chocolate brown interior with light blue leather throw pillows..you know, in case you want to stretch out in the 3-inch backseat.
The backseat of the Cygnet does not need the frivolous pillows, there is not enough space
In efforts to entice, just 14 units of the Colette edition Cygnet will be produced at $70,000 a pop. Will a handful of people feel compelled to own this exclusive number? Many still view the Aston Martin Cygnet as a gussied-up Toyota iQ, yet there may be at least 14 who do not view it as lipstick on a pig.
