Following a rather lengthy tease, the production version of the Alfa Romeo 4C has officially made its debut! Unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the 2014 Alfa Romeo 4C is a curvy little thing packing plenty in the performance arena. The new 4C should make the U.S. infiltration decidedly smoother.
Behold: the production version of the Alfa Romeo 4C
The production version is quite close to the concept 4C, with a white exterior and carbon fiber trim. The carbon fiber of the central tunnel is visible, like it is with the new Lamborghini Veneno.

2014 Alfa Romeo 4C at a glance:
- All Italian
- Rear wheel drive
- Mid-engine layout
- Lightweight carbon fiber construction
- Power stems from a 1.7-liter four-cylinder direct-inject turbocharged
- 240 horsepower
- TCT twin dry clutch transmission (Six-speed dual clutch automatic)
- Launch control system
- Possible high-performance model to come out with 270 horses. The horsepower seems low, but when you factor in the diminutive size and light curb weight, it is enough to catapult the 4C
The concept version of the 4C first made its debut at the Geneva auto show 2 years ago. It is now out and loud in final form.
Styling for this model blends a bit of history with current technology. There are cues derived from the 33 Stradale and the 8C Competizione. Pricing will likely start between $60,000 and $80,000, though official numbers have not been released for the States.
The Alfa Romeo 4C is but one of many new supercars to emerge at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and other leading luxury brands touted their new offerings at the show as well!
