Christmas is over, New Years is almost here so lets get to spring. The first photos of Prada’s upcoming Spring/Summer 2009 collection have just been released. Shot by top fashion photographer Steven Meisel who just recently finished shooting Madonna for a Louis Vuitton campaign.

The Prada garb is front and center. The models Nimue Smit, Giedre Dukauskaite, Sigrid Agren, Toni Garrn, Katrin Thormann, Viktoriya Sasonkina, and Ymre Stiekema have their heads turned away from the camera. The shots look fresh, chic and pretty. It’s a new take on Spring from Prada and we should see more this February at Bryant Park. It was a slow luxury news week, what can we say?
