Renting luxury items is ideal for many people; even people who can afford to own the items.  It is a common misconception that renting an exotic car, or a luxury condo rental signifies that person cannot afford to own one-that is simply not the case.  Many who travel often, or who are savvy, opt to rent luxury items for many reasons.

When you buy an exotic car, a luxury boat, or a new vacation home, you are essentially stuck with that item.  And you also have the responsibility to maintain that luxury item, which can be quite costly. 

Think of routine maintenance for a Ferrari F430 for example-proper storage, scheduled maintenance, proper cleaning and more. Now imagine maintaining a luxury condo-with HOA fees, maids, lawn care and more-ouch.  You can imagine the maintenance fees of owning your own aircraft. 

When you rent these luxury items, not only are you not stuck with them and their regular fees, you are free to rent the latest and greatest models each year!  Exotic cars and luxury boats are similar to new cell phone technology-no one wants to be seen clutching “last year’s phone” eeek.  It would be a double-whammy to then tuck last year’s phone into a fake Louis Vuitton handbag, but that is another blog.
