2010 Jaguar XFR Paws Competition at Detroit Auto Show

2010 Jaguar Purring and pawing at our conscience is the 2010 Jaguar XFR, recently treading across the Detroit Auto Show.  This beast demands attention, mainly because it is the fastest Jaguar to date, racing in at an astounding 225 miles per hour!

At these speeds, the Jaguar XRF is a claw ahead of the XJ220, who topped out at 217 miles per hour in 1992.  Boasting a brand-spanking-new supercharged AJ-V8 Gen III engine, this cat trumps its predecessors while keeping up with its competitors.

The 2010 Jaguar offers two intensities of power outputs-379 horsepower naturally emitted and 503 horsepower that is supercharged through its veins!  This is no surprising feat from the newborn V8, as Jaguar as described it:

“Our most technologically advanced petrol engine ever.”

Learning to walk has been no problem for this kitten, which is capable of 0-60 miles per hour in 4.2010 Jaguar XRF7 seconds.  With this kind of speed, the Jaguar XFR is aligned to compete with other cats like the BMW M5 and the Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG.  Purrrrrr.  Luxury car rentals around the world will improve with this addition to the litter.

With all the new evolution, the six-speed automatic transmission, gear ratios and internal combustion components were not touched.  Jag still offers the old 4.2-liter with 300 horsepower as an alternative to the V6 and V8 cats in the luxury line-up.  The Jaguar XRF 2010 will hit the United States this coming spring, leaving others to trek in its paw-prints.  I suddenly want to watch the Thundercats…
