Those poor Italian law enforcement officers have been given yet another car. This time the force is with them in the form of a Lamborghini Huracan police car. The Italian squad already boasts a number of badass exotic sports cars, and the Huracan is the latest from the Raging Bull logo.
Many wonder if the Italian police force actually uses their many supercars for daily patrols and duty. The answer to that is some of them. The Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 could certainly catch up to any speeding suspect…unless it were perhaps an Aventador LP 700-4 or a Koenigsegg Agera. The lovely lady that is the Lamborghini Huracan will move in to the station to replace a Gallardo that has served the force for six years.
The only thing missing seems to be one of those oversized wrapping bows for the top. Who would not love to unwrap a generous gift of this caliber?
Reports state that the Lamborghini Huracan police car will be used to “sustain security on Italian roads”, which leads me to believe that the lucky bastards actually do get to use the supercar for duty, and not just the occasional social or community benefit.
New Lamborghini or not, someone will still be drawing the short straw.
About the police Huracan
This particular Huracan has features that cannot even be found in the exclusive Lamborghini Ad Personam program, which allows buyers nearly full control over every detail in the customization process. She boasts a proof video data system that tracks both the vehicle itself and the suspects she pursues, plate number recognition and real-time tracking features and image transmissions. Houston, we have no problems with this beast. To top it off, she has a sleek light bar and a trunk with refrigeration capacity…you know, in case an organ needs to be transplanted from an accident scene to a hospital.
