With four of just six Bugatti Legends Series cars unveiled, attention has turned to number five. Number five has apparently been leaked prematurely, and will honor racing driver Elizabeth Junek. Check out the bright yellow coloring and sharply appointed exterior in the spy shot. The shot appeared on a French Bugatti forum recently.
The next installment of the prestigious Bugatti Legends Series has been leaked ahead of its unveil. The car boasts some smoking hot racing yellow and honors female racing prodigy Elizabeth Junek.
The official unveil for the fifth Bugatti Legends series car should be at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show. The show will run April 21st-29th this year, but has a tough act to follow from Geneva this year.
About Elizabeth Junek
Elizabeth Junek was a Czech racing driver. She was born in 1900 and is still regarded as one of the legends of the female Grand Prix racers. Junek competed in many races during her 93-year lifetime, making the following statement about getting her start: “If he is going to be the love of my life (her husband), then I better learn to love these damned engines.”
Like the previous Bugatti Legend Series cars, it is expected that just 3 Junek cars will be made. It will likely boast the same 8.0-liter W16 from the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse with a special one-off color scheme and other touches like plaques and autograph stitching. The previous four Bugatti Legend Series cars were as follows: The Jean Bugatti, Jean-Pierre Wimille, Meo Costantini and Rembrandt Bugatti. It is widely speculated that the 6th and final Legend car will pay homage to the man himself, Ettore Bugatti.
