Lotus is being quite bold, with the new Esprit and next generation plans for pretty much all existing models in the funnel. The statement by Bahar that set the rumor-mill ablaze was during an interview with AutoEvolution, where he stated:
"I’ve seen some drawings (of the Seven revival) and they look very nice, we have to see. It’s always possible, it’s just a matter of timing." He continued by saying a new Seven would fit nicely in the new lineup of Lotus vehicles, igniting further hope for enthusiasts.
