About the 1968 Ferrari Testarossa
The Testarossa for sale was not only a celebrity for a time, it is a convertible. The black car was transformed into a drop-top specifically for the commercial. It packs a punch with a 4.9-liter flat V12 kicking out 390 Prancing Horses. While it was not as fast as its sibling, the Ferrari F40, it could hit the 0-60 mile per hour jump in 5.2 seconds with a top speed of approximately 180 miles per hour.
The Ferrari Testarossa reigned from the mid 1980s through the early 1990s. Many may recall it from its appearances on the hit show ‘Miami Vice’ along with the Michael Jackson commercial. See full list of available cars at the Scottsdale auction here.
