“The $5 million” is certainly the most lavish and bold watch fashioned by Hublot and long-standing partner Atelier Bunter in Geneva. The timepiece took much time to painstakingly craft, 14 months in total with a master-cutter from New York slicing the larger stones.

According to Hublot president Jean-Claude Biver, it would be difficult to make a more expensive watch than the “$5 million” because the surface of a watch is limited space…he apparently has not seen Jersey Shore. I can definitely picture a competitor emerging with multiple wristbands per watch to compete with the pricey Hublot piece!
