Luxury car mogul Jaguar has confirmed that it will produce the C-X75 model, a luxury hybrid supercar that will cost customers an astounding $1 million dollars.  The Jaguar C-X75 nails the 0-60 mark in less than 3 seconds with top speeds exceeding 200 miles per hour, placing it in the ranks with the top players in the supercar and exotic car rental realm.

This luxury hybrid beauty made its debut at the Paris Auto Show in September as a luxury concept car and has continued to gain stamina around the world.  It even snagged the attention of celebrity car collector Jay Leno, who test drove the new Jaguar–see video below!

The key difference between the C-X75 concept and the production model will be the engine.  Rather than the complex micro-turbine power system, the production model will be powered by a more conventional internal-combustion engine with electric motors at each wheel.  Jaguar’s parent company, Tata, will continue to develop the turbine technology to use in future vehicles.

With over forty years of experience with racecars, Formula One racing team and engineering company Williams FI has assisted with development of the Jaguar C-X75 to ensure that the luxury car is not only lavish, but also high-performance.  Only 250 Jaguar C-X75 luxury cars will be built, at about $1.2-$1.5 million each!
