Lamborghini Huracan Spin Offs Are Street Scorchers

Lamborghini is not a brand to just bask in the glory of recent success, like that of the extremely popular Huracan. Instead, the Raging Bull has been occupied with unleashing the Lamborghini Huracan offspring already: The one-off Lamborghini Huracan LP 620-2 Super Trofeo and the Huracan GT3 racer.

Lamborghini unveiled the Huracan GT3 racer recently at the Sant’Agata Bolognese headquarters. The car was developed completely in-house for perfection purposes and she is certainly exquisite. Development was completed by the company’s motorsport division to ensure maximum aggression and off-the-charts power. In fact, the GT3 car is only the second model to emerge from the all-new Lamborghini Squadra Corse facility. Auto spies have been murmuring about the Lamborghini Huracan spin-offs for quite some time, as they have been testing since last year. What is known so far is that the Huracan GT3 is based on the same platform as the next-generation Audi R8 supercar and is to feature a robust direct-injection V10 engine.

The Lamborghini Huracan racing models are slated for the Blancpain Endurance Series with Austrian Grasser Racing team as a partner. Grasser was frontrunner in the Blancpain Sprint Series just last year in the Reiter Engineering devised Lamborghini Gallardo FLII and seems to be eager to stretch their legs in the endurance circuit.

Those looking to get their hands on the wheel of the painfully amazing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 car will have to be willing to part with around $420k. Those yearning for the one-off Super Trofeo version will have to part with the fantasy of ever owning it!
