McLaren has announced a full model range of supercars for the near future, including a challenge to the Porsche 911, Lamborghini Aventador, and even the feared Bugatti Veyron! There are about four more models in the design and development phase at the moment, but these are generating the most traction.

Most luxury car concepts do not make it to production, so it will be exciting to see these new models unleashed over the next two years!

The new McLarens include the current MP4-12C (codename P12), created to challenge the new Lamborghini Aventador, a successor to the McLaren F1 and a model codenamed P13 to take on the Porsche 911 (non-turbo).  So it seems that McLaren is confronting the competition with increased power and sneakiness! Awesome!

The brand intends to sell 4,000 cars annually, aiming for 1,300 MP4-12C models, 2,500 P13 cars and around 200 P12 units. The new lineup will be “true McLarens”, according to McLaren managing director Antony Sheriff, indicating that the vehicles will all be based on carbon.
