If you have ever wondered what a mid-engine Aston Martin supercar would look like, you are not alone. Check out these extraordinary renderings by artist Samir Sadikhov of just that concept. Dubbed the Aston Martin DBC concept, it is taking headlines everywhere.
Impeccable renderings of a mid-engine Aston Martin by Samir Sadikhov. We certainly hope Aston Martin is paying attention to these!
Unfortunately, there may never be a production Aston Martin released with a mid-engine layout or a body as heart-hammering as this. The marquee is known for their grand touring luxury rides, however small or large they emerge. Take the time to really take in the lines and shape–it manages to maintain a distinct Aston Martin appeal while offering a slice of an entirely new and stunning universe. If Aston ever opted to go head-to-head with the likes of Ferrari and Lamborghini and produce edgy and sharp supercars, this would be the body that could back it up.
It takes very smooth styling elements to impress me, and I can honestly say that this design is right up there with the likes of the Ferrari 458 Italia in my humble opinion. The Aston Martin DBC concept has integrated touches of tradition, including the headlights and grille. Both features are recognizably Aston molded into a new and fresh shape. If there is a luxury automaker in need of a refresh button, it is Aston Martin. On the other hand, they seem to have adopted the notion that if it is not broken–don’t fix it. There are fans of both opinions.
