Patriots Will Not Be Coming to Miami for Super Bowl 44

Tom Brady PatriotsSo the team that dominated the Super Bowl throughout the last decade is not going back to the big game here in the new decade. The mighty New England Patriots are out of the chase for the NFL’s Championship game to be held in Miami on Sunday, February 7th.

Yes, the Tom Brady-led team that played in four Super Bowls over the last ten years and won three of them….is now out of contention. The Patriots stunning loss at home to Baltimore suggests there will now be fewer fans making the trip down from Boston, but the rest of the country is still well-represented in the remaining teams.

Last year’s finalists, the Arizona Cardinals, are keeping the Phoenix-area fans interested and will play at New Orleans next weekend, while the eyes of Texas will follow the Dallas Cowboys north as they have a date with Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings.

In the AFC, the league’s Most Valuable Player, Peyton Manning, and the Indianapolis Colts remain the favorites to win it all.  They host Baltimore next weekend.

As well, the surprising New York Jets travel to San Diego to play the Chargers where California football fans are confident their team will win and allow them to make plans for a trip to Miami next month for Super Bowl 44.
