Revealed: Smallest Range Rover Ever

The 2012 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque has emerged, and is a surprisingly diminutive version of its predecessors!  With Land Rover celebrating its 40th birthday this year, the 2010 Evoque is certainly taking the cake!

This Range Rover is the smallest and lightest version yet, which translates to improved fuel efficiency.  In fact, it boasts the best fuel economy of any Range Rover, now that is a serious bragging right in today’s green luxury car market.  With so many companies, including luxury carmakers, looking toward the future and developing more economically sound vehicles; the Evoque will surely be a marketable luxury SUV and ideal luxury SUV rental!

The green and teeny Range Rover will be billed as a sporty luxury SUV, and while it is in fact sm2012 Range Rover Evoquealler, the price tag is rumored to be larger.  It will be marketed under the “Range Rover” brand and a two-wheel drive version will be available for the European markets, the first ever available.

There will also be a diesel version of the Range Rover Evoque, anticipated to employ a stop-start feature and rumored to boast a fuel economy rating similar to the base Mini Cooper.  Outstanding!  I predict that the bulk of sales will be for the 4WD model, as it is the classic and sought after luxury SUV style buyers are most familiar with and is more practical for its purposes.

It seems there will be a handful of versions of the 2012 Evoque available, and possibly a hybrid version a couple of years after the launch.  Look for the compact 2012 Range Rover Evoque to debut at the Paris Auto Show in late September!
