A new Rolls Royce has rolled into luxurious Dubai. Commissioned by Rolls Royce Dubai’s brand manager, the Rolls Royce Chicane Phantom Coupe pays homage to the Goodwood Motor Circuit.
Rolls Royce Dubai reveals the Chicane Phantom Coupe. There can be just one…unless a customer calls to special order the same customizations.
The brand manager, Mohammed El-Arishy, stated the following to describe his inspiration for the special edition Rolls Royce: “I wanted to create a motor car that captures the unique atmosphere and history of the Goodwood Motor Circuit. The Home of Rolls-Royce’s connection to such an important center of British motoring heritage is something that fascinates my customers.”
The Rolls Royce Chicane Phantom Coupe at a glance:
- The exterior boasts a polished appearance with an eye-catching two-tone matte black offset by gunmetal and attractive wheels.
- The hood and windscreen are also finished in matte black.
- The cabin offers distinctive design features that separate it from other Rolls Royce cars. The checkered flag motif stitching is a nod to the Goodwood Motor Circuit and the traditional wood interior accents have been replaced with carbon fiber, which is used heavily in racing style automobiles.
- There is a special metal plaque located inside the glove box that displays the Goodwood racing track. The track layout is a thoughtful addition to the car and physical reminder of inspiration behind the design.
- It packs the Phantom V12 engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
- 0-60 mile per hour mark is met in 5.7 seconds with a top speed of around 155 mph.
The interior is a sharp and sporty red.
