Stories of exotic cars discovered in barns and other storage spaces after long years are popular. The trend is continuing with the sale of a rusty and all-but-forgotten white 1967 Aston Martin DB6 Vantage for a jaw-dropping $211,000. The Aston Martin barn find was sold at Bonhams auction house in Yorkshire in a bidding war that quickly surpassed the expected $95,000.
The previous owner of this Aston Martin barn find was fittingly a garage proprietor in Scotland. The man acquired the collector car in 1981 and apparently simply stowed it away.
