This year marks the 20th anniversary for the Goodwood Festival of Speed. To commemorate the occasion, a Bugatti Type 41 Royale and other rare exotic cars will be on display. Just six examples of the Type 41 Royale were created, including the prototype. The show began on July 10th and will continue through July 14th.

The one on display at the show will be a blue 1932 Bugatti Type 41 Royale. With just six in the world, each example is one of a kind. Ettore Bugatti initially intended to do a production run of 25 Royales, though neither the European nor US economies would allow for that goal. This one is chassis No. 41111 and was personally designed by Ettore Bugatti’s son Jean. Even back in its time, its selling price was exorbitant at $130,000! All six examples of the Type 41 still exist today.
