The Lamborghini Aventador has just hit the scene and has already been raking in the accolades! Recently, the Aventador was named Best Supercar at the Middle East Motor Awards, quite a prestigious honor and a large market! So what else has this model won already?

And the 5 Diamond Engineering Award goes to….the Aventador!

The title of Best Supercar at MEMA Awards came after a 19-judge panel spanning 10 countries made the decision that the futuristic hypercar was a few laps ahead of any current competition. That is really a compliment in the ever-changing, furiously fast-paced world of supercars!

Lamborghini president and chief executive Stephan Winkelmann made this statement following the accolade,
"The Aventador is sold out into 2013, in the Middle East and around the world, and we are delighted to accept this award as a formal recognition of the Aventador’s place in supercar history."
