The Lamborghini Reventon roadster is a rarity. Just 15 examples exist, and only 3 of those are right-hand drive. The BHP Project took one of those 3 out for a bit of high-speed bonding and an in-depth look at the “work of art”. In the clip, he claims that people buy a Lamborghini for the sound. Take a listen, and tell us if you agree!
You also rent a Lamborghini for the sound!
Some feel that the Lamborghini Reventon is no more than a Murcielago with a fancy body kit. While opinions vary, the Reventon certainly has more going for it than a simple or fancy body kit could provide. Check out the details below.
Lamborghini Reventon roadster details:
- The roadster debuted at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, two years after its coupe sibling.
- Special panels made just for it—no hand-me-downs here!
- Ultra-rare: Just 15 exist
- Unique rear-end angles and lines appear sculpted
While all of the above is interesting, it is what lurks under that aggressive hood that truly counts. The roadster Reventon packs the same 6.5-liter V12 from the Murcielago LP670-4 SV, kicking out 670 horses. It is capable of catapulting from 0-60 in 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 205 miles per hour!
In the video review, the Reventon is compared to a famous work of art. People are willing to drop millions on a priceless Picasso, and should do the same for a rare supercar. Thoughts?
