The crown jewel of this year’s New York International Auto Show may well have been the $1.9 million dollar Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Blanc Noir. Thanks to high clientele demand, Volkswagen AG opted to show the supercar off at the show, perhaps to attract potential buyers. This is certainly an exotic car that sells itself–but a bit of extra publicity and attention never hurts!

Not only is there a Veyron at the show, it is the rare Blanc Noir edition, boasting a matte white finish and glossy black accents on the spoiler, intakes, gas cap and wheels. There were 150 examples of the Blanc Noir created, with 95 still available. That means it is not as exclusive as the Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir, of which just 15 units were produced, but still a remarkable machine.

The Veyron packs a specialized 16-cylinder engine kicking out over 1,000 horses with top speeds of around 253 miles per hour. The fastest Veyron is the Super Sport, which can nail 263 mph plus! But that will cost more…much more!
