The special edition GT version of the 2015 Aston Martin V8 Vantage was unveiled at the New York International Auto Show. The standard version will start at $99k with a carbon edition available for $199,995. The dynamic duo will only be available at those rates for the North American market and it will be offered in both coupe and convertible forms.
The Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT at a glance:
- Powerful V8 engine, as expected.
- Option of either six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission. Both produce a top speed of approximately 190 miles per hour, so it will simply come down to driver preference when selecting a gearbox.

While they are still not quite classified as “affordable”, there will be brand new Aston Martin cars in America with a price tag below $100k. The sub-$100k Aston will take hopes to new levels by allowing some to afford something previously out of budget.
The next generation of the Aston Martin V8 engine will be aided considerably by the minds at Mercedes AMG. These two Aston Martin versions could be the last of their kind, which coupled with the pricing, should ensure their success in the American market.
