Check out the Aston Martin V8 Vantage N430. This stunner will be gracing the stages at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in just two weeks. What a spectacular way to draw attention to the woefully typical Aston Martin body—adding unexpected pops of racing style color!
The Aston Martin V8 Vantage N430 is an unexpectedly sporty twist when compared to the standard fare.
The special edition Aston Martin is inspired by the V8 Vantage, of course, but packs a few tricks that are all its own. It will be publicly viewed for the first time in Geneva when the show opens for the press preview on March 4th, 2014. The show opens to the public on March 6th…not that I am counting down the hours or anything.
The name was not copied from Ferrari’s famous F430, but from the number of horses it has in its own stable. The Aston Martin Vantage V8 N430 pays homage to the successful N-badge vehicles and the brilliant colors are an obvious nod to racing successes and the blistering Nurburgring.
Overall, there will now be 3 special edition N-series Aston Martin V8 Vantage cars:
- The 2007 V8 Vantage N400
- The 2010 V8 Vantage N420
- The 2014 V8 Vantage N430
The performance of each N-series Aston Martin V8 Vantage improves upon the previous year, using the latest technology and racing input for superior performance.
The yellow really pops, though framing the windows was a bit much.
The specifications revealed thus far for the Aston Martin V8 Vantage N430 are as follows:
- Dry-sumped 4.7-liter V8 engine.
- Mated to either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed automated transmission, paddle shifting available.
- Top speed is estimated at 190 miles per hour with a 4.6 second 0-60 sprint.
In the cabin
Inside the Vantage N430 are Kevlar racing style bucket seats and plenty of carbon fiber accents. The curb appeal is finished off with forged alloy wheels. The seats are stitched with the N430 logo with small pops of color to tie it to the exterior.
We look forward to more details to emerge soon at the Geneva show soon!
