1400 HP One-Off Koenigsegg Agera Ordered By Chinese Customer

To put those 1400 horses into perspective, the current fastest hypercar on the planet is the 1200 HP Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. Not only does this one-off Koenigsegg pack an additional 200 horses, it rolls on custom carbon fiber wheels. The sleek black paint looks appropriately mean on this model and pairs well with the carbon fiber accents.

While the lucky new owner purchased the Koenigsegg Agera through a Shanghai dealer, that is where the traditional auto shopping aspect ended. Under the hood lurks a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 capable of destroying the 0-60 marker in less than 3 seconds with a top speed of over 220 miles per hour.

There should certainly be a race between this 1400 HP Agera and the 1200 HP Veyron. 

The exterior aesthetics of the Agera are aggressive, with a revised front and a lower front splitter. There is a carbon fiber air scoop located on the fixed roof and an oversized rear wing to create additional down force. Because, you know, you need that to drive around on China’s crowded roadways…where you can reach 30 miles per hour between traffic jams.

Word on this special edition car comes on the heels of a recent Koenigsegg repossession in China. Apparently, there had been a tax issue and a likely humbled owner lost their Agera R in the process. Ouch.
