BMW Vs. Mercedes-Benz
In the United States luxury car market, Lexus is no longer the leader in sales, after dominating it for several years. BMW is now perched in first place, stomping Mercedes-Benz by a measly 29 sales. This is a close race, with the luxury brands literally grill to grill fighting for American sales!
All it would take to change the score is for a company to purchase a few new BMW rentals or Mercedes rentals. Could it be Imagine Lifestyles Luxury Rentals?
Mercedes-Benz has unloaded 71,388 luxury cars so far this year. BMW sold 18,801 exotic cars last month for a total of 71,417 to date, placing the luxury brand just 29 units ahead of Mercedes.
Lexus lost its sales lead in the U.S.
It is believed that BMW’s U.S. sales have been greatly assisted by the introduction of the new BMW X5 and X3 models, both of which are popular. It will be interesting to see how this competition plays out over the remainder of the year, and how creative the auto advertisements are certain to become!
