Oh Conan.  Childish sniveling seems to be Conan’s solution to salvaging his dignity.  Background for those of you who may be out of the loop:  NBC made a business decision to place Leno back to his original time slot, due to lagging ratings and complaints from NBC affiliates who claim Leno’s show provided a weak lead-in to their late night news broadcasts.  Drama ensued.

So how do you get back at NBC when you feel they have wronged you?  You adorn a Bugatti Veyron with mouse ears and whiskers, and roll it out to the Rolling Stone’s hit “Satisfaction”.  The debut of the “Bugatti Veyron Mouse” set NBC back a rumored $1.5 million.  You really showed them, Conan.  Following a sound business decision with a tirade typical a petulant child who did not get his way.  Maturity is ageless.

Conan is rumored be leaving NBC for Fox, and we are thinking Fox should take notice of his unprofessional and rather public tantrum before bringing him onboard.  It will be interesting to see how many “Tonight Show” followers will make the switch to Fox-who recently hired Sarah Palin as a news analyst…outstanding.

Conan’s strategy of revenge is likely to continue, as NBC is forced to pay for his antics until his act is yanked off the air on Friday.  Finally, that poor exotic car did  nothing to deserve such public defacement.
