A crashed McLaren F1 supercar suffered a fate that all-to-often strikes exotic sports cars because they are challenging to handle without much experience—and exotic car crash. The good news is that the F1 has been completely restored and is back on the road and even sporting an even hotter new look, so check out what blood, sweat, tears and buckets of money can fix!
McLaren F1 restored
The crash took place in Southern Germany when a driver swerved into the path of the McLaren supercar, ending in chaos for several vehicles and disrepair. The disrepair was repaired in the end, and the car looks surprisingly even better than it did before! It is truly surprising that efforts were made to restore the McLaren rather than just replace it with a shiny new one, though I suppose the wait for delivery would have surpassed the wait for proper repair.
Stunning end result!
McLaren F1 interior
The dark blue body boasts sharp white accents, cut with awesome gullwing style doors opening to a racecar-style cockpit design. Aside from all-new bodywork, suspension and other major components were entirely replaced in the car, which was a pricey endeavor! In the end the hard work resulted in a road warrior worthy of any track…just be cautious of other drivers!
