The Bugatti Veyron currently holds the title as the world’s fastest supercar. But the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport is no faster than a stock Veyron 16.4. The 16.4 Veyron has a targa top while the Super Sport Veyron has a fixed roof and performance upgrades. So it seems the brand is combining variants of each and testing a new and faster Bugatti, spied sans camouflage!

In the photo you can clearly see that it is a Bugatti Veyron. Upon closer inspection you can see that this Bugatti prototype features 2 Grand Sport air ducts and a gap between the windshield and roof panel. Could the Grand Sport soon be available with the Super Sport’s power?

The spy shots are only subtly different from the production Bugatti convertible, mostly in the aerodynamic department. The front facia is tweaked and there are dual rather than single exhausts in the rear that pretty much mirror the Super Sport version.
