Spy shots have captured what may be a Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce testing on the Nurburgring. This is fantastic news for all who would love to see an even more aggressive version of the insanely potent Aventador. Could this be a SuperVeloce version of the award-winning Aventador?
Lamborghini has taunted the press by testing a mystery model on the Nurburgring. Rumors are sparking that it will be an Aventador SuperVeloce packing even more power than the standard version.
Features of this Lamborghini Aventador prototype include:
- Sharper, sportier features
- Revised front lip spoiler
- Center locking alloy wheels
- Beefier tires and brake calipers
- Lowered ride height
- Likely a boost in the power arena
- Overall, the exterior aesthetics remain close to the original Aventador. There are just slight alterations and a bright yellow exterior to separate it from the standard orange.
Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce?
Lamborghini officials have not revealed much in the way of the possible Aventador SV prototype’s true identity–though they had previously hinted at a more powerful variant in the future. The standard Lamborghini Aventador heats up the pavement with an impressive stable of 700 horses thanks to its 6.5-liter V12 engine. How many horses will the next-gen Aventador pack? We can only hope they do not make us wait until the next Geneva Auto Show.

The SuperVeloce suffix has been attached only to the most powerful Lamborghini supercars over the decades. It is an addition to the name intended to communicate that it is a formidable opponent packing substantially more power than siblings. The SV title has also been used on the Murcielago, Diablo and Miura Lamborghini models.
