Watch as a $400,000 Lamborghini Aventador loses control on the street and nails two other vehicles and manages to get some air in between. This Lamborghini crash occurred in London’s upscale Knightsbridge section on what would otherwise be an uneventful Sunday afternoon. Note how casually the driver exits the Lambo after all the action.

Could the temptation of touting an extreme supercar through a busy shopping district brimming with wealth have simply overcome the driver? It appears that showing off can be costly. Once the driver nailed the Mazda 5 hatch and the Nissan Quashqai, it clashes quite audibly with a parked BMW. Aside from the shock of an Aventador rounding a corner like an amateur drifter and smashing into fellow drivers, the most shocking part of the crash is where it appears to momentarily leave the road and sail through the air.

Luckily, the only injury sustained during this particular crash was pride of the Aventador driver. It is easy to lose control of a supercar like this, as the Lamborghini Aventador accelerates from 0-60 miles per hour in just 2.9 blistering seconds. That is not enough response time on a busy city street if one were to lose control of all that power.

The owner of the parked BMW hit by the Aventador made the following statement: “We showed up about three hours after the incident and there was a letter on the windshield. The Lamborghini was being towed away and the owner came up and explained what had happened. He was really apologetic about it.”
