For those of you who feel that size matters, meet Genting, the largest resort in Malaysia…oh yeah, and the world.  Touting itself as the “City of Entertainment”, it could be called the Las Vegas of Malaysia.

Which makes sense, as it is home to Malaysia’s only casino.  This large-scale luxury resort has entertainment for all.  Genting also has bragging rights to the fastest and longest cable car in Southeast Asia and two theme parks. 

Nestled in the resort for the playboys is an 18-hole, par-71 golf course, a concert hall, entertainment center and string of international hotels and dining options.  We wonder if Tiger Woods could have been more discreet by spending some time over there! 

This jewel is perched a lofty 2,000 meters above sea level, which is really important when you consider that Malaysia is on the equator, crowded and just plain hot.  The higher altitude of the resort gives it a cool advantage over the city below, in both senses of the word. 

The height also provides a fresh mist and invigorating mountain air and breezes, not to mention a 100-million year old forest!  Other natural attractions include stunning vistas down into the valley.

Overall, this is obviously a luxury resort of epic proportions, with entertainment, dining, accommodation and shopping options for everyone.  While we do not have our exotic rental cars there yet, we are sure they have some available for the high rollers.
