Forbes has been having some fun listing the most valuable teams in sports.  If the following teams were to sell, they would fetch some impressive prices, making them among the most expensive sports teams in the world.

Manchester United F.C. – $1.87 Billion
England’s Manchester United is a Premier League club and the most valuable soccer (football) club in the world. This could be thanks to the team’s 18 league titles, four Football League Cups and 11 Football Association Challenge Cups, but that is just a guess!  I am wondering how many luxury cars, Bugatti’s and exotic rental car indulgences one could buy with that price tag.

 

Dallas Cowboys – $1.65 Billion
The most valuable team in American sports history is the Dallas Cowboys, with a record number of Super Bowl appearances and more consecutive sold-out home games than any other NFL team….and the cheerleaders are pretty hot, too.

Washington Redskins – $1.55 Billion
With five NFL Championship wins, ten NFL divisional titles and six NFL conference championships and a fifth place ranking in Super Bowl appearances, the Redskins have what it takes, and that comes with a lofty price tag!

New York Yankees – $1.5 Billion
The average New York Yankees player makes approximately $7 million dollars per year, and apparently the owner/owners isn’t doing too shabby, either!  Kate Hudson is a New York Yankees fan, spotted here attending a game.
