Is the “Most Extreme Gallardo Ever” an Exaggeration?

With the reign of the Lamborghini Gallardo model drawing to a close, the brand is calling the latest edition the “most extreme Gallardo ever”. It could just be hype, but the Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale and it is based on the exclusive Blancpain Super Trofeo racecar (not to be confused with the Bugatti L’or Blanc, it seems to be a popular word at the moment!).

Just 150 examples of the LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale shall grace the planet, which is up from the Blancpain’s 15 units. Both Lamborghini models share the same V10 engine, rear wing and quick-release hood, though the Super Trofeo Stradale (which is just long and I will call the STS from now on) tips the scales at just 2,948 pounds, creating lightweight lightning that is 150 lbs less than the LP 560-4! Carbon fiber is the one to thank here, not Jenny Craig.

The STS catapults from 0-60 in 3.4 seconds, reaching 144 miles per hour in 10.4 seconds, finally topping out at 198 mph. It is not the fastest car in the world, but I wouldn’t turn down a few track laps! Don’t miss our fleet of Lamborghini Gallardo rentals in Miami and a city near you!
