Maruti Kizashi Luxury Sedan
As we have covered before, there will soon be a new luxury car added to the legions before it, from Maruti, an offspring of Maruti Suzuki Motors, of Japan. The company has announced the launch of its first luxury sedan, the Maruti Kizashi, which will be manufactured at Suzuki Motor Corporation’s Sagara plant in Japan and imported to various countries, including India. This is a good plan, as the luxury car market in India and China are at an all-time high.
The Maruti Kizashi luxury sedan will feature a 2.4-liter DOHC J-Series engine producing a max output of 178 PS at 6,500rpm and 230Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. This model will be made available in both manual and continuous variable transmissions. This luxury sedan is a blend of European styling cues and Japanese craft expertise on 17-inch alloy wheels, and damn is it a looker!
The Maruti Kizashi will be available in three colors: Snow white pearl, Super black pearl (not to be confused with ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’) or Premium silver metallic. On the inside, the Kizashi offers all creature comforts, including a 425-watt Rockford Fosgate audio system with iPod connectivity and Bluetooth capacity. Expected launch date for this luxury sedan is in 2015, stay tuned.
